Took a long break from working with used clothing (it's been all sheets, curtains, and vintage yardage for a while), but now I'm back in the game with dad's plaid. This is the Jesse for summer. new skirts

I developed a new skirt pattern for summer. It's similar to the high waisted pleat skirt of early spring, but this one works well with my summery vintage cotton fabrics. It has pockets, and is very comfortable. I'll be doing these up in lots of fabrics.

Mara and Makai were baptized Sunday

I made this outfit for Makai Saturday afternoon. Mara wore a dress that her grandmother took her shopping for. It was a sweet ceremony. Makai's head still smells like balsam.
